Overtime Bidding

Why did the auction closing time extend by 10 minutes after I placed my bid? This is called "Popcorn" Bidding: Bids placed within 10 minutes prior to a lot's scheduled closing time will extend the closing time on that lot an additional 10 minutes. This gives all bidders an opportunity to place a competing bid. All lots will close when there have been no bids placed within the last remaining 10 minutes.

Max Bid

Your Max Bid is the most you are willing to pay for an auction item. Consider placing a Max Bid if you don?t have time to monitor an auction. Your Max Bid won't be displayed to other bidders, but will be displayed as the current bid based on the bidding increment. You won?t pay the Max Bid amount unless another bid bumps you up to the next increment.

Watching Items

You can monitor items you're interested in without placing a bid by selecting Watch This Item after you've logged into your account. Now you can keep track of the closing date, next minimum bid and number of bids from your Account page. We?ll email you a reminder to bid the morning items you are watching close. You can remove an item from your watch list from your Account page or by clicking the Watch button again.

Closing Time

This is the time the auction will end, but "Popcorn Bidding" could add 10 minutes to the closing time. If a bid is placed within 10 minutes of the closing time, the auction will extend by 10 minutes. This allows competing bidders a chance to stay in the race.

Enjoy a foursome of golf at East Hampton Golf Club! East Hampton Golf Course is the 40 year dream of the Bistrian family. Pete Bistrian, who owned and farmed potatoes on part of the land, first envisioned a golf course on the property in the mid-1940?s. In 1978, ground was broken.

The Club has been called ?visually stunning? by Hall of Fame golfer Ben Crenshaw, who with partner Bill Coore, designed the course on just 126 acres of land.

Terms: Includes greens fees of $250 for each player and lunch for four (excluding alcoholic beverages); Caddy fees will be the responsibility of the foursome; Must schedule time one week in advance; Monday-Thursday only; caddies mandatory; no electric or pull golf carts; Expires October 25, 2012; proper golf attire and abide by club rules. Travel and accommodations are not included. Blackout dates may apply. We expect all winning bidders and their guests to conduct themselves appropriately when attending an experience won at Charitybuzz.
